Are you confident this is Speculantha and not another Diplodium? Were there multiple capsules on the stem? I am not 100% confident based on what I can see in the photos.

Yeah looks like Diplodium to me. Bract too large for Speculantha

Thanks both of you. Agree now I look at it again. I had seen a small colony of D. reflexum further along the hill in the autumn, but did not get get a chance to record them. I tried to find them again, but was unsuccessful.
