User's notes

I keep finding animal tails . . . I'm guessing a ring-tail possum? Eaten by a fox?

Hi Lisa, If your comment means you have found at least three tails in the same area, as well as looking carefully on the ground nearby, look up also. Powerful owls bring prey (mostly possums and gliders) back to roosting spots and drop tails. Foxes consume prey at scattered locations except for what they bring to their cubs in a den. And foxes leave entrails and fur as well as tails.

Hi Don. No, sadly I haven't seen three tails in the one area - my cryptic comment referred to sighting #4344070 (seen in a different area).
