ID confirmed by David Albrecht, via Margaret Ning. "Hi Margaret, nice to hear from you. It looks very like Poa bulbosa to me. The bulbous base, long ligule, yellowing leaves (quite distinctive at this time of the year) and congested inflorescence all match this sp. I could check a specimen to be absolutely sure but I’m reasonably confident. Cheers, Dave"
