decumbent, not erect; extensive on wet muds of small stream, probably nutrient (nitrogen) enriched.
Same species as # 4344357
Photo has inflorescence in top centre (need to enlarge to see clearly).

Almost certainly Juncus articulatus, but I think genus level is appropriate here.
