Thanks for this sighting if it was of the more invasive pink flowered cousin Cortaderria jubata the sighting would have been rewarded with a nursery native plant voucher see https://canberra.naturemapr.org/Species/Lists/3

I was a bit surprised to find this pampas grass! This was my first visit to Flea Bog Flat even though I've driven past it hundreds of times. It wasn't easy to navigate, very boggy, and some impenetrable blackberry and honeysuckle. Lots of midges.

The Pampas grass has been mapped on Collector by EPSDDs Invasive plants, & TCCS (the land managers) are aware.
