Michael, you have identified one of the plants in this group as Malva parviflora. How can you tell the difference? Going by the general descriptions many of the sightings of Malva this year have been M. parviflora particularly when singled stemmed, upright and robust.

Mike it is one I wondered about, I went on leaf size 2-5cm is Malva neglects, while parviflora is 8-10cm but hard to tell from photo

I have gone back and checked the size of leaves. They are 12-15cm across so definitely not M. neglecta.
