This was a new one to me - I knew of Blady Grass but wasn't aware that it was found on the tablelands - growing in very sandy soil on the 'floodplain' of Lake George.
Blady Grass is largely a coastal species of Northern and eastern Australia, but there are a few outlier populations in our region such as on the Murrumbidgee in the vicinity of Point Hut and this population NE of Bugendore, Does seem to like alluvial situations in our region
