Don't be fooled by the eucalypt leaves. These specimens were collected in a small park in which there were a number of oak trees as well as some eucalypts and Casuarinas. However, the Russulas appeared only under the canopies of the oak trees and a very careful search found them nowhere else. The third photo shows a very young specimen.
