More isolated patches of 2-3 plants than previously thought. Have all been thoroughly dug out and removed from the park - it produces hidden seeds which
are formed in the nodes and bases of
the flowering stems. This a good time to remove or herbicide plants before they are producing aerial seeds as yet this season. They are easy to find as the tussocks are a brighter green than the surrounding weedy grasses.
