User's notes

We came across 5 adult wood ducks swimming with two ducklings. They were comfortable then got a fright and the adults all left. Then the two parents returned to the ducklings alone. After some time they were attacked by two ravens in separate attacks while the parents tried to fight one off one duckling was taken. The second duckling was also taken by the raven. I've included photos of the parents initially trying to heard the ducklings to safety and engaging the raven as well as the raven eating and flying with the duckling. Plenty of other photos are available. It appears. The dam. Really lacked any cover that. Would have given the ducks a chance.
