Tiny ant (1-2 mm) on smooth eucalypt trunk

Hi Cath, well done, another new genus for CNM! This tiny any is closely related to Technomyrmex, so your ID wasn't far off. There are a few tiny brownish or black ants like this, all needing a very close look in order to ID. Cheers, Jon
