I appreciate the images may be hard to tell. Unfortunately I was unable to get shots when they were hovering over the car. But due to a distinct lack of any real white colours or markings from the underneath or the top. The only thing that seems to fit is either a black or brown falcon.

Unfortunately I don't think we can ID these birds from the photos. I agree that they are quite likely to be falcons from the silhouette and from what I can see as a "rowing" action in flight but I can't be certain. Perhaps the other moderators might have other thoughts? Cheers, Sandra

I agree Sandra, impossible to determine species from these pictures. However probably more likely to be a Brown Falcon in our region. (Black Falcons are quite rare).
