I don’t think so. The venation in the leaf blades is not that of Plantago major, where the leaf blades all diverge from the base. Vicflora describes this arrangement as ‘5-7 main veins. Echium plantagineum rosette leaves have this arrangement of veins. However, the leaves are hairy.
Thank you. We have never really had Paterson's curse as problem in HGW. We only really noticed the extremely large rosette when we were planting some shrubs!
