Hi, Michael,
It is in a creek bed which dried out over recent months. I didn't see any water around this patch nor a much larger patch in Pond 5 which is literally covered in this and possibly other species. However, with the more recent rains, I suggest that these areas are at present more wet than boggy. I will check further when accessible again.
