Female perched in a nearby tree when we arrived at 6pm. After a while the male came out and flew away. The female moved around in the tree she was in for a while. Eventually she flew to Tree 51 and perched near the hollow. We stayed for a further 30 mins but she didn't enter the hollow in that time.
Thanks Robin and Kirrily - at other nesting sites the soft chirping of chicks can sometimes be heard when standing next to hollow - so when you are next out there (a week or so would be good) that would be something to listen out for Thanks Michael
