Diagnostic features in wing venation to identify an Ophioninae wasp: 1. Cell 1M +1R1 extends beyond Vein 2M-Cu (ie there are no cross veins) 2. There is a clear oval patch with no setae in Cell 1M + 1R1. There are often additional brown sclerites in this patch. 3. Cell 3Cu has a spurious vein that is an extension of Vein 1A
No setae in fenestra suggests Leptophion. 63 flagellar segments in antennae narrows the choice to L. orientalis, L. tetus, L. yampus, L. anici. ICI = 1.2 which favours L. tetus.
