I'm not sure this is S. argyrostrepta. I can't see white tipped antennae and the white vertical stripes seem much narrower and one less in number than for that species.

Quite true. Those features may be sex linked, or may not. Better have a look at the other 387 Australian named Cosmopterigids.

The palpi are another way of distinguishing Stagmatophora - long, thin, plain black and recurved - from glyphiteryx - heavily scaled, upright, banded black and white.

The white stripes on this specimen seem rather narrow for G. meterora.
None of the ALA or BOLD specimens have them this narrow along the hind-margin..

Yes, I haven't seen a confirmed G. meteora specimen with such narrow white bands. The photo doesn't show what's along the costa well enough, but what you can see is consistent with a G. meteora with generally reduced white/silver areas
