User's notes

I have been monitoring this clump for some weeks. There appear to be two different species in this small clump . The left hand plant has a much thicker stem and thicker flower pods which are still unopened. The taller right hand spike appeared a couple of weeks later and it is the flowers on this spike which have opened. Its the same plant as posted by Lisa H.

The previous sighting was Lily & Iris Dianella longifolia ‘Benamba’ (Arching Flax-lily) on 30 Nov 2019 Dianella longifolia “Benamba” Unfortunately the kangaroos ate the flower spike on left - much thicker and thicker flower buds then the Benamba before the flowers opened so we could not get photos of those flowers for definite identification.
