Rod, Deb - this is a fantastic sighting. It's a male Cup Ringtail. One I've been hoping to see for five years now, without luck. They're not uncommon elsewhere but for some reason they seem to be vary scarce in the ACT, though I do know of a few records (either old, or just outside of ACT).

Good luck, at the time I also thought I glimpsed near this one a pinkish brown coloured one as well but it disappeared. Not sure if this is another one but a different sex or what, did not see it again.
