Thanks John - This male is feeding a female and newly hatched chick on a nest in the wider stromlo area. He spent Autumn and winter down on the south coast in the Ulladulla area. This is the third year that we have been observing him.
Males during the breeding season do occasionally go on longer trips (our record is a 80km trip in an afternoon), but most of their time is spent within 5km of the nest, so the bird at Jerrabomberra is likely to be a different bird
