Single plant amongst planted grasses on the edge of the footpath around School Pond. Long briars with 4-5 cm flower. Could also be Rosa Rugibinosa. New to plant identification
Individual flower stalks of Rosa canina are hairless and lack prickles. Individual flower stalks of Rosa canina have glandular hairs and fine prickles. Rosa rubiginosa is a Declared Pest Plant in the ACT. Rosa canina is not.
