This species can live at least 20 years in the wild. I think that photos of left and right faces, like these, can be used to identify individuals, probably even many years later. For example the area in front of the eye often has a pattern similar to an Eye of Horus, whose variations distinguish individuals, but the left face of this individual has a more unusual pattern.
