Looks like a juvenile to me, but appeared to be independent. Seems early in the season?

Not sure if it is a juvenile or not. Our nesting Brown Thornbills have already left their nest about a week ago. They have 3 young.

I have noticed that it can take a year or so for full adult colour to come through with the Butcherbirds, so this one may be from last season.
