Fruits 2-3 mm, not persistent. Co-located plants are either upright or sprawling. Leaves covered in hairs.

There are several species of Leptospermum in the area. To decide which one, we need good photos of a sideways view of a flower to show the shape of the back of the flower (hypanthium) and whether it is hairy or not, 2 or more leaves showing whether they are sharp pointed or not, a sideways view if possible of a nut showing its shape and whether it is hairy or not, or a comment to say there were no nuts (some species drop their nuts esrly) and a general view of the shrub to show whether it is upright, sprawling, or weeping.
