Hi Kevin, funny to confirm my own find. I'm not aware of a way to tell the sex. Why male?

Yes, over enthusiasm, 50:50 chance of being right. But my thinking was that it is the young males that are expelled from the pack and have to find a home beyond the pack's home range.
