A lone Noisy Friarbird flew into a tall eucalyptus tree, calling the whole time. I did not hear any birds answering. The bird was also preening itself. This tree is not far from where there was a nest last year.

I saw a pair yesterday on Red Hill - perhaps the same bird plus one?
