A very active Jumping Spider sighted on a handrail in ANBG's Rainforest Gully.

The only difference being that this one has the distinct black hairs on the front legs which the other sighting does not. I'm sure this individual is Prostheclina bulburin.

Thanks Yumi - have settled on the genus as it would be a big and disjunct range extension of bulburin, but you may well be proved right.

Barry Richardson of CSIRO provided the following "The one with the furry red face and no brush on the front legs is P. pallida. The one with the brush on first legs is P. amplior. P. bulburin is a Queensland species. P. pallida should not be here, only amplior..."
