Of the ants shown in the first image, there were 4 of the type of ant shown on the right which were foraging on a tree trunk. One of these came across the ant shown on the left of the first image. Despite the ant on the right clamping its jaws around the head of the other ant, the other ant pushed the ant on the right backwards around the tree trunk for several minutes.
