A small and very active caterpillar sighted on the handrail of a footbridge. It was constantly changing direction and never still.

This is the caterpillar of a micro-moth, so that rules out 8 out of the 30 or so super-families of Lepidoptera. Caterpillars of micro-moths are not as varied in appearance are the caterpillars of the macro-moths, so you will have to rear it to an adult moth in captivity to even find the family.
