User's notes

There were many of these insects on the galvanised handrail of the bridge, with and without wings and in various sizes. Presumably, different stages of development of the same insect. The insects were sighted in the same location 2 weeks earlier.

The Giant Willow Aphid is up to 6mm long and is a European species first detected in NSW in 2014. It is not a notifiable pest.
