Hi Andrew, any more pics of the face or bat as a whole? In general the colour and lobes near the ear look like a Chalinolobus more than Miniopterus but it's a little difficult to tell.

Thanks Michael! Have uploaded a couple more pics. Following reading about the finger bone lengths in M. schreibersii am now pretty sure it’s not that species and agree Chanilobus seems much more likely

Yep definitely Gould's wattled bat. The very solid and much darker head and shoulders (remeniscent of an American bison) is a giveaway for this species.
