Fifteen species of Chlorociboria have been reported for New Zealand but I'm not aware of any comparable work on Australian species

At Peter Johnston workshop years and years ago in Sydney we were looking at a whole stack of Chlorociboria specimens. From what I can remember, I need to try and dig up my notes, we were finding more than the C. aeruginascens. My impression is that this is a name people know and so they call all their sightings by this name. Maybe a safe way around this would be to call them C. aeruginascens (group)!
