User's notes

The unidentified fungus was sighted on a Eucalyptus rossii. A662787.308. ANBG Section 39. Photographed during the recent rain, which kept down the number of insects feeding on the fungus. (A few tiny black 2 mm long insects can be seen in these images). See subsequent sighting 4208562 for detailed images of the insects. The third image shows most the underside of the fungus.
