The lichen is growing on a Melicytus but most of the characters needed to separate the species are not visable without a close-up. The only character evident is the angle of the branches where around 45 degree it is M. dentatus and at >60 degrees it is M. angustifolius. The only species listed in the ACT plant census is Melicytus angustifolius subsp. divaricatus.
