Acacia dawsoni is another possibility

I thought I had gone wildly astray with this. When I looked at the photos I was going to change to acacia. Single prominent nerve but can see second nerve on some leaves. Flowerhead arrangement like A. verniciflua.

Definitely Acacia Mike with those flower buds. However, Acacia verniciflua, with about the correct number of flowers per head, has two obvious longitudinal veins while this has only one in most phyllodes. Acacia dawsonii has only 6-10 flowers per head, even though it only has one obvious longitudinal vein.

Same locality and appearance as https://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Sightings/Details/2457725.

Could you try my app if you do not have a copy of the app Wattle. IThough from the inflorescence it is probably dawsonii (4-8 flowers). Verniciflua has paired flowers on shortish stalks at the bases of the leaves.
