Summersb, what makes you think it is a Burton's? Did it have a pointed snout?

G'day Geoff, I was able to observe this lizard for a minute or so, before taking this picture. I quite clearly observed the sharply pointed snout. I just noticed where the app dropped the siting location which is incorrect. I was actually on Point Hut Hill.

A good record of this fairly rare ACT legless lizard.

Summersb, I will send a message to Michael B about the location. GeoffR

Hi summersb
I've relocated it to the top of Point Hut Hill. Is that close enough?
It is common for cameras to get the GPS wrong. Sometimes they don't link up with the satellites well enough to be accurate. You should be able to use the "Edit" button to correct location errors.
