I should have looked more closely. The minute patterns of dark lines along the costa are different. I guess they have costaprints in the Ectropis excursaria world.
I'm happy to confirm the above as E. excursaria following the above discussion and based on the following criteria (after MoV Part 7): 1) the male antennae have short fine pectinatiion, but longer than that typical of E. bispinaria; 2) enough of the hindwing on the RHS is visible to see that it is plain and sloping with a start of the 'step'' at the outer end visible.
