It probably is E. ephippiata, which quite commonly has all-black forms, but there are other all-black species of Euryglossa that I could only distinguish by very close examination.

I'll check against the Euryglossa key when I get a copy, but based on PaDIL images and location, other Euryglossa species seem less likely.
