A bull ant. On the ground, and running up the trunk of big tree, next to Coconut Ant nest.

Hi Kim & Michael, just doing some other Myrmecia IDs and noticed this one is looks like M. simillima rather than M. forficata, based in shape of mandibles and direction of striations on the pronotum. I'm happy to update if you agree. Cheers, Jon
