Thanks Jane - one that we definitely don't want to establish on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin

Hi Michael,
where is Robinia pseudoacacia listed under the 'Plant" categories in the pull-down menu ? I didn't see it under Plant, Other Tree, Other Shrub, and ended up suggesting a 'new species' but then it wasn't. or did I miss something ?
And what do I do about photos that get loaded upside down ?

There are (or were) more across the lake, along the path between Government House and the golf course. I will see if I have a photo with location.

it suckers (I didn't know that). the density of the patch, and the general spatial arrangement of sizes suggests this might be a suckering patch: possibly triggered by pre-Christmas mowing.

See Unidentified on 20 May 2018 for spines of larger Robinia on south side of lake.
