Thanks for these old photos from the Yass River area - it helps in the understanding of the extant and abundance of the Tree Goanna in the Nanima-Yass River area. It is a bit perverse that in the Canberra Nature Map Region the nationally common Tree Goanna is locally rare while the nationally vulnerable Rosenberg's Goanna is relatively common
