Several male Blue-billed ducks on the Fyshwick sewerage treatment ponds. Photo taken from the road. One individual duck shown on the left hand side of the photo.

Thanks for the suggestion and I agree that the bird in the photo is a hardhead. I didn't notice the white patch on underside of the bird's tail. I originally assumed blue-billed duck because of the bird's small size and colours.
