Attracted to Actinic 20w UV light at night.

This specimen is the dark form of the species group corresponding to the 'species' A. semiochroa (see Lepidoptera Butterfly House (http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/arct/semiochrea.html) and Moths of Victoria (supporting disc to Part 2 . It is uncertain whether A. semiochrea and the similar A. ombrophanes are distinct species. This dark form has been recorded on Black Mt (Common 1956) as has the flightless female in O'Connor (where this specimen was photographed).
