Difficult species to track down due to its restless habits and song that does not carry very far. I also encountered them on Black Mountain. Song recording available but I don't think I can upload that here.

Song recording below -- this is the louder, paced out singer of the two species in this file. The continuous singer with a slighter continuous buzzing is Atrapsalta furcilla.

Nice work. Both Pauropsalta mneme and Atrapsalta furcilla are common on the slopes of Black Mountain. Not easy to photograph!
