Admittedly it would have to be a light-coloured specimen, but I'm wondering whether it may instead be C. interrupta. The sharper angles of the forewing patterns would seem to fit that species and that species also has an apical pale streak in both sexes. I would say the patterning towards the outer margin of the forewing seems to match C. interrupta as well.

True, and also Chrysolarentia cryeropa has a apical streak.

Is it a variant of Chrysolarentia nephodes, for which we have several records from much the same place?

Glenn, I thought so too, but then on closer examination I didn't think the wing patterning would match C. nephodes. Its certainly a pale -coloured specimen.
