Thanks Michael, given that the plants appear to have seeds is it possible for you to pull the plants out and bag them and dispose to landfill. I hope this is not a plant that we have just been over looking and that we may be able to eradicate it from the ACT, but tackling initial small outbreaks like this.
Hi Michael M. The plants have been removed. I looked around the area and could not find any little ones, so I assume these were the first generation. But they were very big, and would have dropped hundreds of seeds before now. Can you please encourage the local park ranger to keep an eye on this location as there is likely to be a few more come up here next year and after.
