Thanks RodDeb, FYI I would suggest that from the lack of a dark head and very little crest that this bird is either young or a female. Was the bird on its own? Chris

This one was on it's own the other two were on logs out in the middle amongst Pink-eared ducks.RodDeb

Have added another two pics showing the other 2 Freckled ducks. Did not put them on earlier as there are other ducks in the photos but hopefully this will help to show where the other 2 were.
One duck was out in the water in front of the hide. Another was on the left log way out in the water and is the second duck from the left. The third Freckled duck is on the right log way out in the water and is the fourth duck from the right. Most of the other ducks on the logs were Pink-eared ducks.
