Found a dead tree with a lot of wood rot in the stump. Looked like borers. I used a stick to dig into it to see if there were any insects and was surprised to uncover this little guy. Must have been in hibernation mode as stayed still and was bothered by the flash. Took a few minutes before it warmed up enough to scutter back into hiding.
