This is a lesser long eared bat. They sometimes roost under peeling bark of eucalyptus trees. But they seem to not mind using oilskin coats and pool umbrellas and similar things as an alternative. There is another species of long eared bat in the region, but I can tell this one is the lesser long eared bat by the shape of the ridge above its nose. Nice record, they do use bat boxes so you might find more in there some time.
