User's notes

I believe these were three females feeding at the western edge of the Federal Golf course just away form the thick undergrowth and shubbery betweent the course and the houses. Only one of the birds let me approach within any distance, with that bird eventually being chased off by Noisy Miners. The disagreement between the birds continued into the undergrowth.

Hi Mike, Thanks for the suggestion but I will hold firm with Satin Bowerbird as I have also heard them making the typical bowerbird call that sounds almost like a mechanical spring unwinding. I have also seen the male in the dark blue plumage, I just have not been able to get a photograph of him. I appreciate you taking time to make a suggestion. Cheers.
